Jeannette Johnson Lining Up Support For Bellwood Mayors Race

Sources report that Bellwood Police Officer Jeannette Johnson is lining up support for an April 2009 race against incumbent Mayor Frank Pasquale. Sources report Johnson has been seen meeting with former school board colleagues Tommie Miller and Marilyn Thurman. Miller and Thurman have reportedly signed on to chair her campaign. Is this a good or bad move for Johnson?

Did Jeanette Jojnson really get arrested at the hands of the Mayor? What was the arrest for? And, what was the basis for the lawsuit she filed against the Village of Bellwood?

Yes. She was charged with election law violations that were later thrown out. The bone heads who arrested her weren't even the police. Yet at the time she was the police, and lodge president of the FOP.

sicekning! proof that absolute power corrupts absolutely. I hope she kicks Pasquale's A$$ and gets rid of the Proviso township mentality. Maybe Jeanette can be the first Mayor to effect change in the township and lead with honor.

Jeanette has a lot going on for herself however with the likes of Miller and Thurman backing her it leaves some of us especially me wondering.
