Breaking News: Arnie Bryant Dies From Massive Stroke!!!
The Insider has received word from numerous sources across Proviso Township that Bellwood Library Board President and former Proviso Township Trustee Arnie Bryant suffered a massive stroke on Monday evening and was rushed to Loyola Medical Center in Maywood where he died at 4pm on Tuesday. According to sources, Bryant did not feel well on Monday and eventually suffered a stroke around 5:30pm. Sources tell the Insider that Bryant was in critical condition until about 3pm on Tuesday. Shortly after being taken off life support, Bryant passed away with family by his side. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Bryant family at this time.

Our Prayers go out to the many friends and love ones who knew such a scholar. farewell my friend you stood as a giant among men, now rest in the arms of the greatest man of all.
Bryant was a great advocate for the least among us. You are truly appreciated and greatly missed. In your steps, I will look to your light as a guide to right injustice.

Arnie Bryant, 49, of Bellwood, died Tuesday evening at Loyola Medical Center in
Maywood.
Bryant suffered a brain hemorrhage and never recovered.
The President of the Bellwood Library Board and former President of the Proviso –
Leyden NAACP, was a tireless advocate in the community for more than 20 years.
A special tribute to Bryant will be featured in next week’s issue of West Suburban Journal
News as we look back fondly on his life and legacy
